Annual music conferences have been hugely successful on the east coast for more than 25 years. The Independent Music Summit is an annual 5-day event for independent dance artists, DJs, music producers ,record labels, distributors, promoters and other music industry members. The Independent Music Summit will happen in Cathedral City, California from September 21 - 25th, 2011. While most music conferences are held in the spring and summer, the IMS is held in September when the weather in Southern California is beautiful.

I know I've brought this topic up before but everytime I turn on the radio or TV, my point is confirmed. My point is, gays are still the butt of all jokes. In mainstream media, gays are the joke. In most cases, we allow this (i.e. Bobby Trendy). I've been asking someone to prove me wrong and give me some examples of gays on mainstream TV series, that are not embarrassing. I have yet to get a response.

Today's Allen's World Podcast includes a breaking news story regarding a missing local gay man. "We usually don't do time-sensitive stories on our podcast", said Allen Edwards. "But there is something strange about this story and we need to get the word out nationwide". Not only is this story running on the podcast but on the live 24-hour stream.

The missing Cathedral City local resident is Jason Brown. He is 5'8", has blue eyes and brown hair. He is 32 years old and has a star tattoo on his elbow. Anyone with any information regarding this missing person is asked to call Philip Sirois at 951-544-3602 or call the Cathedral City, California Police Department (case #0509-4238.

Jason Brown was last seen at a local gay bar called "Club Whatever" which was previously named "Ground Zero". He has been missing since September 28th. Another local man with the same type of description is also missing and missing at the same time.
